Trevor "Simple" Simon is one of the strongest Warri players of Antigua and Barbuda. He was Oware world champion 1999-2002. Simon won all the international tournaments held at MSO London from 1998 to 2000 thus being accorded the title "Oware Grandmaster" by the Mind Sports Council in 1999. According to the Oware Society, he "decided to bow out of tournaments in 2001 to give other players the chance to come to the fore". In October 2002, he played a total of 8 matches (68 games) against Ibrahim Abubakar (Ghana) who is known as "Oware Killer". It ended with both players winning 4 matches each, but The Killer in terms of games was in the lead with 35 games to Trevor Simons 28 (5 draws). Simon is also an organizer of the annual "National Warri Festival" of Antigua, which is one of the largest mancala tournaments. In 2002, he played in a scene of "No Seed", a thriller featuring Warri.

"The endgame starts when there are 15 seeds left."
